JURGEN KLOPP BRINGING BACK THE GIANT OF LIVERPOOL TO OTHER CLUB FEAR LIVERPOOL FC
Boss: We're a new LFC team - let's look forward, not backwards
Jürgen Klopp has urged his Liverpool team to focus on forging their own place in the club’s history after they moved top of the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds produced another sparkling attacking performance to rout Watford 6-1 at Anfield yesterday - a win that lifted them to the summit of the English top flight for the first time since May 2014.
Klopp’s side have amassed 26 points from their opening 11 league fixtures, and their tally of 30 goals also makes them the division’s highest scorers.
Optimism is understandably high around Anfield after a start to the season that has seen Liverpool lose just once in 14 matches in all competitions, but the boss insists that their elevation to the top of the table should not lead to a change in attitude or approach within the dressing room.
“With normal common sense, no [being top will not change anything]. I know how football works, football is really important, but keep your nerves – everything is good,” Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com after the victory over Watford.
“It’s a really good moment and I know that everybody compares with the past, especially at Liverpool. Three years ago, 10, five, 25 years ago - but this team is new, we are new. Our story started a few months ago so you cannot compare us with anyone else.
“You cannot carry the history on our backs, we should feel free for creating something in the near future.
“If everybody wants to say ‘we wait now for 20-something years for silverware’ or whatever, we can say ‘OK, we [have] tried, actually, only since a year!’. So that gives us the freedom to look in the future quite optimistically.”
Just five points separate Liverpool and fifth-placed Tottenham, and Klopp is not getting carried away with his side’s new status as league leaders.
“If you watch the Premier League this weekend and saw Chelsea playing, how strong Arsenal is, how strong City is, how strong Tottenham usually is and Man United - you should never write them off!” he added.
“So it’s really, really a battle for each position at the top of the table. We made our base a little bit better today, but that’s all.”

THIBAUT COURTOIS SPENT 465 MINUTES IN GOALPOST WITHOUT A GOAL
THIBAUT COURTOIS SET A NEW RECORD
Thibaut courtois as set a new record with 3-4-3 formation that new chelsea coach An Conte was introduced to chelsea team.
Thibaut Courtois spent 465 minutes in Premier League five matches without concede a goal.
Two players who have been on top form of late at opposite ends of the pitch, Eden Hazard and David Luiz, hope our brilliant form will continue when Premier League football returns after the international break.
The Blues signed off for a fortnight with a devastating performance against Everton on Saturday, beating Ronald Koeman’s team 5-0 at Stamford Bridge, our fifth consecutive victory in the league.
Antonio Conte ’s side are next in action on Sunday 20 November when we head north to face Middlesbrough and Hazard , who was outstanding and scored a brace at the weekend, says the whole team are performing well right now.
‘We are in good form and we want to stay like this,’ he said. ‘We are near the top of the league, a good place, where Chelsea has to be.
‘We are enjoying our football and playing very well. We are creating a lot of chances and we haven’t conceded any goals for a few games now.’
The Belgian, who has now scored seven goals this season, also spoke about his role in the side and how the switch to 3-4-3 has benefited him.
‘It hasn’t changed a lot, I just have a little bit more freedom with and without the ball,’ added
Hazard . ‘I don’t have to defend on the right-back because Alonso is there, I just have to stay in my position. When I get the ball I have more freedom and I can go where I want to go.
‘People tell me I don’t shoot enough so now I try to do it more because if you don’t shoot you don’t score. I don’t know if the ball will go in but I have more chance if I shoot.’
At the other end of the pitch, David Luiz was part of a defensive unit which kept a fifth consecutive clean sheet and restricted Everton to just one shot on goal over the course of the 90 minutes.
The Brazilian, who has been magnificent in recent weeks, believes there is more to come from the side.
‘We played a great game against a strong team, it’s good to win by scoring many goals and not conceding but it’s just the beginning,’ said the defender.
‘We just want to go match by match, we don’t want to speak about the future. It’s important to keep our feet on the ground and have humility, that’s the key.’

WHO CAN REPLACE THE GREAT LEGEND SIR ALEX FERGUSON IN MANCHESTER UNITED
HOW SIR ALEX WAS APPOINTED 30 YEARS AGO
Thirty years ago today (Sunday), Manchester United confirmed the name of the club's new manager - Alex Ferguson, the firebrand boss who had won the European Cup Winners' Cup and every major trophy in Scotland with Aberdeen. Here's the story of how Martin Edwards, then the Reds' chairman, engineered arguably the most pivotal appointment in the history of British football...
In the autumn of 1986, Manchester United were languishing in the top flight’s relegation zone - a year after being apparent shoo-ins for the league title. With the club’s demands of excellence scarcely realised since Sir Matt Busby’s abdication, the board of directors recognised the time for change had again arrived.
THE END OF RON'S REIGN
In five years at the helm, manager Ron Atkinson had won two FA Cups and had never finished below fourth in the league, but it was Big Ron’s inability to top second spot which proved his undoing.
"Manchester United is a club with exceptionally high standards," stated then-chairman Martin Edwards, now the Reds’ honourary life president, in an interview in 2011.
"Ron had been with us five seasons and had done reasonably well, but it started to go wrong the season before we decided to make the change. After the game at Southampton I think we were 21st in the league, so we had a meeting on the plane on the way back to Manchester and we all decided it was the right thing to do at the time.
“It was very difficult to tell Ron, because he hadn’t been a failure and he was very enthusiastic, and it’s never an easy job telling a manager that you want him to leave. That bit was difficult, but making the actual decision for the right reasons wasn’t difficult.”
The previous campaign had started with 10 straight league wins, but had sputtered out long before the Reds juddered over the line in fourth place. Understandably, the early months of the 1986/87 season had been soundtracked by incremental discontent on the terraces, while Atkinson was repeatedly subjected to questions about his future in the media.
NAMES IN THE FRAME
The list of potential replacements had been drawn up long before the axe fell. The Guardian ’s Frank Keating named the contenders as Brian Clough, Howard Kendall, Don Howe and even Bryan Robson in a player-manager capacity. Others had Terry Venables as the favourite. For the board, however, one figure had long since been elevated above the rest.
“There might have been a few names mentioned – probably just whoever was popular at the time – but none of them was seriously considered,” recalled Edwards. “It was a unanimous decision from the board to go for Alex Ferguson. He was absolutely the preferred choice of all of us.
“We’d first met him when we signed Gordon Strachan from Aberdeen. Gordon had already signed a contract with Cologne and we really wanted to extricate him from that deal, so that’s when Alex came in. He was batting on Manchester United’s side, probably because he wanted him to come to United but also because the move would get Aberdeen more money if he did. So he was very helpful to us and that’s when I first got to know him.
“We knew how well he’d done in overtaking Glasgow Rangers and Celtic and he’d won the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1983 against the mighty Real Madrid, so his pedigree was there. When we actually met him and realised what a firebrand he was and saw the way he conducted himself, that really just confirmed how impressive he was.”
MAKING THE MOVE
With the target agreed, United’s kingmakers nevertheless had to tread carefully. There was no guarantee that Ferguson would either want or be allowed to leave Pittodrie, especially in the midst of such spectacular and sustained feather-ruffling of Glasgow’s Old Firm.
“We didn’t want to end up with egg on our face,” admitted Edwards. “We decided we’d better find out if Alex was willing to join us, so one of our directors, Mike Edelson, rang Aberdeen’s switchboard and put on a Scottish accent, used an assumed name [that of Alan Gordon, Gordon Strachan’s accountant] and asked to be put through to Alex Ferguson. Alex came on the phone, Mike told him I would like a word with him and he put me through.
"We arranged to see Alex that evening – Bonfire Night - up in Scotland and it was the usual cloak and dagger thing: myself, Mike, Bobby [Charlton] and Maurice [Watkins] met him at a petrol station, he drove us round to his sister-in-law’s house and we all met him. It just confirmed that he was the one that we wanted."
DONALD TRIES A TRUMP CARD
Edwards continued: "What we really wanted to know from Alex was if his chairman at Aberdeen, Dick Donald, would allow him to leave. Alex made it quite plain that he wanted to join us, and he also said that he had an agreement with his chairman that he could leave if United came in. Alex had actually said that he wanted something in his contract that he could join a big team, and Dick Donald had said: ‘You’re only leaving if Manchester United come in’. That wasn’t difficult really. So I rang Dick Donald the next day and he agreed to see me."
Donald made a last-ditch bid to keep his man, with the staggering gesture of offering Sir Alex ownership of Aberdeen FC but to no avail. Compensation was quickly agreed and permission was granted for talks to begin. They didn’t take long. As Sir Alex later admitted in his autobiography, Managing My Life : "To a great extent I was a captive candidate, and happy to be so."
REDS IN NEED OF REPAIR
Two days after his appointment as United manager, Sir Alex watched on as his new charges were dealt a chastening 2-0 defeat at Oxford United; a result which laid bare the poor fitness levels of the squad he had been bequeathed. Further unsettled by confirmation that a drinking culture had been established within the club, the Scot assembled his players in the gym at The Cliff.
"I made it plain that I meant to put an end to Manchester United’s reputation of being almost as much of a social club as a football club," he wrote in his book. "I told them that they would have to change their ways because I certainly wasn’t going to change mine."
Further concerns were raised about the physical strength of the existing squad, and a short-sightedness which had gradually decayed the club's youth and scouting systems. By the time Queens Park Rangers arrived at Old Trafford for Sir Alex's home bow, he used his first column in United Review,
the official match programme, to spell out the enormity of his task, while also conveying a stony determination to realise it.
MISSION STATEMENT
"Taking over a club of Manchester United's magnitude is an awesome task," was Sir Alex's opening gambit in the programme. The sobering clarity continued: "I am not really interested in what has happened here in the past. I don't mean any disrespect to the great achievements of Manchester United over the years. It's simply that there is now only one way to go, and that is forward. The aim at this club must clearly be to win the championship. That is the only real way to lay the ghosts of the past.
"There always has to be a starting point, and I see the league championship as the basis for Manchester United's future. Success has a snowball effect as I found at Aberdeen… it’s not something that can be built overnight, and it could take a few months before I can create a true relationship with the players. But that is what I shall work towards and I am going to love every minute of it here."

MESUT OZIL INCREDIBLE SEASON
Having worked alongside Mesut Ozil every day for the past three years, Arsène Wenger is uniquely placed to examine the playmaker’s development.
After the World Cup winner scored a brilliant goal against Ludogorets on Tuesday night - his seventh this season - the boss was asked about the reasons for the rapid strides he has made.
'I was saying 'shoot, shoot' to Ozil!'
Mustafi - Mesut is just incredible
This is what the Arsenal manager had to say:
on whether Ozil works harder now…
He pushes himself much more. He has that in him as well. Sometimes the trap for very talented players is that it is easy for them. They know subconsciously they don't need to push themselves too hard to be efficient. It's so easy. I can't tell you because I was never in that situation!
on whether his style made people think he wasn’t working hard…
You have to be cautious in that, by looking at that. People who look fluid, lax with their joints, not stiff with their joints, don’t look as if they push themselves too much, but if you look at their performances they surprise you many times. They look like they don’t push themselves. More the reluctance with him was that people were saying he didn’t go too much into challenges or tough contact. He’s more a guy whose strength is to get out of things but on that front I believe he’s improved as well.
on whether the Premier League was initially a shock for him…
A little bit, yes. He’s a player who left some people sceptical but every time you looked at the game again, he had the ball more, made something intelligent happen and I was always supportive of him.
on how Ozil is enjoying life at Arsenal…
I believe that a player needs to meet his needs inside a club. Where he lives he is certainly in London. It is difficult not to be happy in London. I believe that the happiness a player has when he plays comes out by his performance. I hope he is happy.

CAN JOSE MOURINHO SPEND ONE SEASON IN MANCHESTER UNITED
Things is getting worse for Jose Mourinho as Manchester United lost against Fenerbahce and Manchester United are now in 3rd place in Group A Table with just 6 points
If they will qualify for knock out stage they have to win the remaining two matches. Paul Pogba limped off in the first-half of Manchester United's Europa League match in Fenerbahce with an injury to his right leg.
The world-record signing looked to have picked up a dead leg in a clash with a Fenerbahce player after 20 minutes and he failed to run off the injury before being replaced by Zlatan Ibrahimovic after 28 minutes, with Wayne Rooney moving into midfield.
The France midfielder is likely to be a doubt for Sunday's trip to Swansea in the Premier League, when Ander Herrera will be suspended.
The injuries are starting to stack up for United, who are already without Antonio Valencia and Eric Bailley, although Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Phil Jones are both back on the bench.

MESUT OZIL AMAZING GOAL AGAIN LUDOGORETS
MESUT OZIL SENT ARSENAL TO TOP OF GROUP A.
Mesut Ozil rescue Arsenal against Ludogorets, Brazilian Jonathan Cafu opened the scoring for Ludogorets from close range with his second goal in the Champions League, giving Arsenal keeper David Ospina no chance from a precise Wanderson free kick. Three minutes later, Cafu dribbled past Kieran Gibbs and delivered a tempting cross for Romanian striker Claudiu Keseru, who doubled Ludogorets's lead to send the home fans at the Vasil Levski stadium into dreamland.
Granit Xhaka, who returned to Arsenal's starting line-up after serving a domestic ban, reduced the deficit midway through the first half with Ozil turning provider. French striker Olivier Giroud made it 2-2 three minutes before the break after getting to the ball ahead of keeper Milan Borjan from Aaron Ramsey's cross and flicked home a header.
Ludogorets almost restored their lead in the second half but Ospina did well to parry Wanderson's shots on two occasions. However, Ozil, who scored a hat-trick in Arsenal's 6-0 win over Ludogorets two weeks ago, had the final word.
Ozil collected the ball in Ludogorets's half, lifted it over an advancing Borjan before slipping past two defenders and calmly slotting into an empty net. "I have already stated that Ludogorets are a very good side," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said. "I was delighted that we managed to level before half time. Now we play Paris (St Germain) at home and we have a chance to finish top."

JOSE MOURINHO IS NO MORE SPECIAL ONE
For passed two seasons Jose Mourinho did not enjoying his coaching career.
Jose Mourinho was sack by Chelsea FC last December due to poor performance of Chelsea FC,Zlatan Ibrahimovic has failed to score in league matches for first time since 2010.
The last time he went six games without a goal was with INTER in 2007 though Burnley Goalkeeper denied him today and he waste alot of opportunities today at Old Trafford.
Frustration was the overriding feeling as Manchester United were held to a goalless draw by Burnley at Old Trafford.
The Reds, who were the dominant force throughout, came up against former Academy graduate Tom Heaton in fine form in the Clarets goal, and were left to rue a host of missed chances as Zlatan Ibrahimovic hit the crossbar and captain Juan Mata struck a post.
Ander Herrera was sent off midway through the second half for a second bookable offence as Jose Mourinho’s men, who drew a blank for the third successive Premier League game, were denied a first league victory in four games in front of a sell-out crowd at the Theatre of Dreams.
Mourinho made two changes to his team from the midweek EFL Cup win over Manchester City as Matteo Darmian replaced Antonio Valencia, who is undergoing an operation on a fractured arm, for his first league game of the season and Jesse Lingard came in for his 50th United appearance, with Michael Carrick dropping to the bench.
The Reds came quickly out of the blocks as Ibrahimovic fired straight at Burnley captain Heaton from the edge of the box inside the first 20 seconds after referee Mark Clattenburg allowed play to continue following Ben Mee’s late tackle on Lingard.
Heaton was called into action again a few minutes later when Ibrahimovic linked up well with Marcus Rashford, whose cut-back found Mata but the Spaniard could only strike straight at the keeper.
Ibrahimovic then rifled a volley over the crossbar after another ex-Red Michael Keane headed out a threatening pass from Paul Pogba, who himself had a shot which deflected behind off Dean Marney as the hosts bossed proceedings from the outset.
Burnley, whose three Premier League wins this season have all come at Turf Moor, struggled to impose themselves and the Reds almost went ahead on 17 minutes when Mata’s delightful reverse pass released Ibrahimovic but the number nine was thwarted by an excellent save from Heaton.
The Burnley stopper made the most saves in a league game this season in their defeat at Southampton last weekend and it was another busy afternoon on his Old Trafford return as Mata’s low shot from just inside the box was tipped around the post.
The Reds had further opportunities to take the lead before the break as Ibrahimovic’s side-footed finish from Pogba’s deft flick was diverted behind by Mee before Lingard’s powerful header on the penalty spot from Ander Herrera’s cross was athletically kept out by Heaton.
Pogba sent a rasping drive over the crossbar, via the slightest of touches from Heaton, and United’s appeals for a penalty on the stroke of half-time were waved away when Darmian went over under the challenge of Burnley substitute Jon Flanagan.

As the players re-emerged for the second half, Mourinho took to a seat in the main stand before moving to the directors’ box. United picked up where they left off and, after Ibrahimovic did well to work his way to the byline, Mata was denied again by the legs of the impressive Heaton, who also denied Lingard’s follow-up.
The Stretford End cried in unison again for a spot-kick when Pogba’s attempted cross appeared to hit Michael Keane’s hand but referee Clattenburg pointed for a corner. As the Reds sensed the breakthrough, Heaton’s heroic display showed no signs of stopping as he stood firm to miraculously block Ibrahimovic’s acrobatic effort from close range, injuring himself in the process.
Even when Heaton wasn’t called upon, the woodwork denied the Reds as Mata’s low effort hit a post before Ibrahimovic’s header deflected onto the crossbar. But United’s afternoon became increasingly frustrating when Herrera was shown a second yellow card on 68 minutes for slipping and clipping the heels of Marney.
United introduced Wayne Rooney, who had missed the previous two games with a thigh injury, and Marouane Fellaini in place of Mata and Lingard, but Burnley came close to taking the lead when Sam Vokes flicked Scott Arfield’s cross narrowly wide of De Gea’s post.
As the Reds piled on the pressure in the closing stages, an unmarked Daley Blind saw his low shot deflected over before Luke Shaw curled wide and Ibrahimovic turned over Pogba's cross from close range but, despite Rooney firing over the top from a corner, Burnley survived five minutes of added time to hold on for their first away point of the campaign.
Although it wasn’t the result they were hoping for, the Reds have now only lost one of their last seven games in all competitions, as attention turns to booking a place in the Europa League last 32 with Thursday’s trip to Fenerbahce.

BARCELONA DREAM TEAM TO WATCH ON TUESDAY AGAINST ESPANYOL
Some of the first team have been given a few days' break, while the remainder were joined by eleven reserves who are included in the side that faces Espanyol for the Catalan title in Tarragona
The players in conversation during the Monday session | MIGUEL RUIZ - FCB
Following a weekend that brought a dramatic last-minute victory at Valencia, FC Barcelona’s attention now switches to the
Catalunya Super Cup on Tuesday night in Tarragona, where they and Espanyol will be kicking off at 9.30pm CET.
Luis Enrique has given special permission to all of Ter Stegen, Rakitic, Sergio, Luis Suárez, Messi, Neymar Jr, Mascherano, Digne, Sergi Roberto and Umtiti to take a well-deserved break, and none of those players will be required to report for training until Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, Piqué, Iniesta, Jordi Alba, Cillessen and Aleix Vidal are all out through injury, the latter having been added to the list after picking up a thigh injury in training on Monday, and whose availability over the next few days will depend on how things develop.
But Arda Turan ’s own fitness concerns are over and the Turk was able to train as normally along with the remaining available first team players at the Ciutat Esportiva.
They were joined by a number of players from Barça B that have been included in the squad for Tuesday’s game with Espanyol, and which is as follows: Masip, Denis, Arda, Paco Alcácer, André Gomes, Mathieu, José Suárez, Palencia, Mujica, Nili, Marlon, Moisés, Martínez, Sarsanedas, Aleñá, Alfaro, Gumbau and Carbonell.

KURT ZOUMA IS BACK
Kurt Zouma continued his return from a serious knee injury to feature for the first time in almost nine months as our development squad drew at home this evening (Monday).
Despite a positive start, the hosts were behind late in the first half as Callum Guy converted the rebound following a penalty save from goalkeeper Bradley Collins. The Blues turned it around in two minutes after the restart, with Jay Dasilva netting from the spot and then Ike Ugbo firing into the back of the net.
However, Derby were level again instantly as Farrend Rawson headed in a left-sided corner. Dasilva then saw red for a second bookable offence, forcing Adi Viveash’s side to play the final 20 minutes with 10 men. Despite chances to steal all three points late on, both sides were forced into sharing the spoils after an eventful contest.
Zouma featured from the start alongside Fikayo Tomori and Trevoh Chalobah in a back three in front of goalkeeper Collins. Fankaty Dabo and Dasilva started at right wing-back and left wing-back respectively, while Kyle Scott, Mukhtar Ali, Ruben Sammut and Isaac Christie-Davies lined up in midfield. Ugbo netted a brace last time out at Exeter City in the Checkatrade Trophy and he led the line up front.
Kurt Zouma rises high to head clear as he makes a first competitive appearances in almost nine months.
Viveash reverted to a 3-4-2-1 system with
Zouma on the right side of the back three and the wing-backs providing the width in attack. Yet the young Blues were rarely troubled at the back in the opening exchanges as they probed to find an early breakthrough.
Ugbo headed over after a neat short corner routine from Dasilva and Scott but it took until the 12 minute for the hosts to register a shot on target, Christie-Davies’s low drive gathered comfortably by Rams keeper Jonathan Mitchell.
Derby were almost the architects of their own downfall as Jamie Hanson played his goalkeeper into trouble with a short pass back. Ugbo was alive to the opportunity but Mitchell raced off his line and just about won the race to the loose ball. Down the other end, Zouma was required to cover at the back and timed a perfect sliding challenge to thwart Mason Bennett’s progress into the box.
Ali fired narrowly wide and Ugbo saw a deflected shot pushed behind by Mitchell before the game burst into life eight minutes before the interval. Charles Vernam advanced down the left channel and into the penalty area before drawing a foul from Zouma , who was fractionally late with his challenge. Vernam stepped up but saw his stop-kick expertly saved by Collins, although Guy was on hand to poke in the rebound.
Bradley Collins makes a penalty save but cannot prevent the rebound ending up in the back of his net.
Viveash made a change at the break, introducing Dujon Sterling in place of Zouma after the defender’s prescribed 45 minutes of action. Sterling had a positive early impact on the right, with Dabo dropping back to centre-half. His delivery was almost turned in by defender Josh Lelan before Rawson denied him with a well-timed challenge.
On his 17 birthday, it was Sterling who made the telling contribution for our leveller on the hour mark. His clever run in behind had Calum MacDonald struggling to get back goal-side and the defender clipped his heels inside the box, prompting the referee to point to the spot for the second time. Dasilva stepped up and confidently dispatched his effort into the bottom corner.

It was 2-1 to the Blues a minute later. Dasilva this time turned provider down the left and supplied for Ugbo, who rifled his finish beyond Mitchell for his third goal in two games. However, in keeping with the topsy-turvy nature of the contest, our advantage lasted just two minutes as Rawson found space in the box from a corner and beat Collins from close range.
Our hopes of finding a late winner were dealt a blow after 70 minutes after Dasilva was dismissed for a foul on Kellan Gordon down the left. Despite the numerical disadvantage, there were opportunities for Viveash’s side to find a third goal late on. The most notable fell to Ali, whose precise drive looked destined for the bottom corner before Mitchell pushed the ball round the post.
Substitute Mason Mount saw a deflected shot loop narrowly over the crossbar and Sterling was denied by Rawson again as the hosts drew for the second time in a row at home. They return to action in Premier League 2 next Monday 31 October with a trip to Everton.

MESSI SHOWS PEP GUARDIOLA THAT CAMP NOU IS LION DEN
Lionel Messi scored a hat trick as 10-man Barcelona beat 10-man Manchester City 4-0 to take firm control of their Champions League group at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner struck in the 17th, 61st and 69th minute -- the final two after Claudio Bravo was sent off -- to bestow Barca with a satisfying win in former manager Pep Guardiola's first meeting with the Blaugrana as City boss.
And it was Messi who opened the scoring just after the quarter-hour mark with a cool finish past former Barcelona goalkeeper Bravo.
The Argentine superstar started the move after picking up the ball from Kolarov and playing forward to Andres Iniesta, whose blocked cut-back -- aided by a Fernandinho slip in the box -- eventually fell to an onrushing Messi who faked a first-time shot, took a pair of touches to round a fallen Bravo and slotted into an empty net with his left foot.
The goal was the 100th scored by the attacking trio of Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar throughout all competitions in 2016.
Ivan Rakitic nearly doubled the lead in the 32nd minute, but his free header of a Messi free kick looped over Bravo's goal.
Ilkay Gundogan forced a fine close-range save from Marc-Andre ter Stegen on 38 minutes and John Stones' header flashed wide in the 45th.
Suarez then was thwarted by Bravo moments later after being played in on goal by Messi -- the Chile international saving and then clearing his stabbed shot and subsequent rebound under pressure as the game went into the break.
Man City were a man down eight minutes after the break when Bravo's clearance of a long through ball went straight at a nearby Suarez, whose shot toward goal was handled by the Chilean yards outside of his own box.
Bravo was shown a straight red for the action, and was replaced by Willy Caballero in goal.
And Messi pounced with his second soon after -- the Barca No. 10 receiving a pass just outside the semi-circle, cutting inside on his left foot and beating Caballero at the near post with a well-laced strike.
Messi then had his hat trick eight minutes later thanks to a breakdown at the back that left Suarez alone on the left of the box before squaring for his teammate to guide in.
First-half substitute Jeremy Mathieu was given a second yellow in the 74th minute for a sliding tackle on Raheem Sterling, evening the sides at 10 men apiece.
Messi won a penalty minutes before full-time after weaving through the Man City defence. But Neymar's subsequent spot-kick was saved by Caballero to keep the scoreline 3-0.
However the Brazilian got his goal moments later, curling around Caballero from inside the box after dribbling through the City defence.
The win gives Barca nine points from three matches, while the loss keeps City on four.
It wasn't all good news for Barcelona, however, as Jordi Alba and Gerard Pique were forced off prematurely with injuries.

MOURINHO AND FA
Jose Mourinho's comments about the appointment of referee Anthony Taylor for Manchester United's match at Liverpool on Monday are to be looked at by the Football Association, Press Association Sport reports.
Mourinho was asked about Manchester-based Taylor -- who is registered with the Cheshire FA -- being given the game after Keith Hackett, former head of the Professional Game Match Officials Limited body, criticised the move. Hackett said he felt it placed undue pressure on the official.
"I think Mr Taylor is a very good referee but I think somebody with intention is putting such a pressure on him that I feel that it will be difficult for him to have a very good performance,'' Mourinho said.
Press Association Sport reports that the FA's governance team will study Mourinho's comments and may subsequently wish to contact the United boss for his observations.
New rules were introduced in 2009 in an attempt to crack down on prematch comments about officials which could be viewed as intimidatory or influential.
In its statement at the time, the FA said: "Clubs are being advised that any media comments by managers, players or any other club officials relating to appointed match officials prior to a fixture will no longer be allowed -- such prematch comments will be deemed improper and dealt with accordingly.''

YERRY MINA MAY BECOME BARCELONA PLAYER SOON
Barcelona have a pre-agreement in place to sign Palmeiras defender Yerry Mina, the player's representative Jair Mina has claimed.
Mina's late equaliser for Colombia in last week's 2-2 World Cup qualifying draw with Uruguay led to the re-emergence of reports that Barca have a preferential option to purchase him.
Jair Mina, who is also the 22-year-old's uncle, says the reports are accurate, although he added that a move to the Camp Nou is far from a done deal, with other clubs also monitoring his nephew's progress.
"Yes, a pre-agreement was signed and there's the possibility that the kid goes to Barcelona," he told Radio Caracol. "It's only a pre-agreement, so there's still the chance that other teams [make an offer], so [a move to Barca] would depend on circumstances and the desire of the player. Other top European teams are interested."
The agent also confirmed that he met with Barcelona representatives in Barranquilla last week, where they were present to witness Mina winning his fourth senior international cap.
Mina joined Palmeiras from Colombian club Santa Fe earlier this year and the Brazilian side's coach, Cuca, admitted at the time that the centre-back's stay in Sao Paulo was unlikely to be a long one.
Mundo Deportivo reports that in the move which took Mina to Palmeiras there exists a clause which would allow Barca to sign him for €9 million at any point during the next three years.
Sport adds that the Blaugrana wanted to bring Mina in this past summer for their B team, but in the end agreed to leave him to continue his development in Brazil.
Instead, Barca signed Brazilian defender Marlon Santos on loan from Fluminense. The 21-year-old, who featured for the first team in preseason, is a regular presence in Gerard Lopez's B team.
Barca maintain the option to sign him permanently at the end of the season for around €5m -- a deal which would be automatically triggered if he plays five official matches for Luis Enrique's side.

COSTA AND HAZARD SENT TRIBUTES TO WILLIAM FOR THE DEATH OF HIS MOTHER
Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard said he and Diego Costa had dedicated their goals in the 3-0 victory over Leicester City to Willian after the death of the Brazil international's mother.
Costa and Hazard both made "W" symbols with their fingers after scoring in tribute to Willian, who has returned to Brazil following the news.
"It's for Willi, Willian," he told Sky Sports. "He's back in Brazil. He lost his mother. We are thinking about him. I hope he comes back stronger."
Chelsea wore black armbands as a mark of respect and boss Antonio Conte told his postmatch news conference: "I want to dedicate the performance, the win, to Willi and his family.
"It's a sad moment for him but he must know that it is also [bad] for us, because we are very close to him and his family."
Meanwhile, Hazard has said he is enjoying playing in Conte's new 3-4-3 formation, which mirrors the tactics used by Belgium boss Roberto Martinez.
"I play more inside the pitch," he said. "I don't stay wide. We play also this system in the national team for Martinez. I think we have more freedom even when we lose the ball, we can get the ball back. It's a good system for Chelsea."

DIE HARD BARCELONA FANS
Most of football fans believe that their team can never be defeated but in life nothing can reign forever it is only God can reign forever.
A Barcelona fans carry all his eggs at once in which he end up as a loser.
KOEMAN SPEAK AHEAD OF MANCHESTER CITY GAME
I KNEW PEP WAS SPEAK FROM START.
City facing Everton on Saturday it was inevitable that Ronald Koeman would be asked about his apprentice Pep Guardiola.
The Dutch star was handed the task of nurturing the young Catalan at Barcelona under the instruction of the legendary Johan Cruyff.
In a fascinating insight to how Pep was determined to absorb all he could from both Koeman and the Barca boss, Eurosport write: “Even Ronald Koeman was somewhat taken aback - and impressed.
“It was early 1990 and Barcelona manager Johan Cruyff had instructed the Dutch sweeper to take a new young academy graduate under his wing, and teach him a bit. Koeman was always willing to do so on the provision that a kid was actually interested and willing to learn, but he was surprised at just how interested this one was.
“A teenage Pep Guardiola, who was now Koeman’s roommate, immediately began peppering him with very pointed and sophisticated questions. These weren’t general queries about the team’s style, or little things he should do in his position. These were very forensic discussions about the finest details of the philosophy, what really made it work.
‘He wanted to know everything,’ Koeman has said. ‘More than any other player, he wanted to know about one-touch football, about positional play, one touch in small spaces. He loved the way Cruyff wanted to play with Barcelona.’
Well worth a read in full .
Elsewhere, Sergio Aguero may been unable to put a foot wrong with City, but for Argentina, it seems not all is going according to plan.
The Daily Star report: “Aguero has been on fire for City, scoring 11 goals in eight appearances under new boss Pep Guardiola.
“But he missed a penalty as struggling Argentina suffered a humiliating defeat at home to Paraguay on Tuesday.
“Asked if he would be surprised to be dropped by his country, Aguero said: ‘No, because I’m not doing things right.
‘If I’m not in the next squad, I’ll take it in the best way. There are no excuses. Things didn’t come off for me.
‘We’ve got to lift our heads. These things happen and we have to turn it round.’
On life at City Kun added: ‘Pep wants me right as a nine, but then he gives me more freedom too. He asks me to move all around the attack.
‘He is very picky about everything. It’s good. The good thing is that I’m getting used to him and automatically going straight in to pressing the centre-backs.’
Meanwhile, John Stones’ international defensive partner believes the City star is in for a glittering career for both club and country.
The Mirror report: “Gary Cahill has spoken of his pride at reaching 50 caps - and tipped John Stones to earn twice that number.
“Chelsea defender Cahill, 30, helped preserve a clean sheet in Slovenia alongside Manchester City’s rising star on Tuesday to keep England top of their World Cup qualifying group.
“And he believes 22-year-old Stones is on course to establish himself as a mainstay for the Three Lions over the next decade as he progresses at club level under the tutelage of the Blues' new boss Pep Guardiola.
“Cahill said: ‘John is a top player, and I’ve played with a lot of other centre-backs.
‘He’s moved to Manchester City and he’s going to be under great guidance there and be playing in great, massive game s. He's going to keep progressing and he’s a massive talent.’
Continuing with the praise, Everton’s Gerard Deulofeu fondly recalls the time he worked with Pep Guardiola at Barca and the effect the manager had on the young Spaniard.
Sportsmole write : “The Barcelona academy product, who joined the Toffees on a permanent deal last summer, was handed his Camp Nou debut under Guardiola as an 18-year-old in 2011.
“Deulofeu was unable to truly make the breakthrough at Barcelona and is now making waves in the Premier League but, on the eve of Saturday's clash with Guardiola's new side, the winger admits that Everton will have to be at their very best to return from the Etihad Stadium with a positive result.
‘Every year, he played the same in Barcelona, Bayern Munich and now Manchester City. It's an amazing style and if you have specific players, the players you want, that style is the best. We know we go to an amazing pitch and difficult stadium but I think we can take the three points because we have a good, strong team.
‘I'm confident. I have good memories because I stayed a long time in my career at Barcelona and Pep gave me my debut in the first division.”
Finally, former City favourite Gareth Barry says David Silva has been the best player he’s played alongside in his career.
Talking to the Liverpool Echo, Barry said: “I loved playing with David Silva at City.

CAN MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGE TO GET A POINT AGAINST LIVERPOOL
The atmosphere generated by a packed, floodlit Anfield could be the difference-maker for Liverpool when they take on arch-rivals Manchester United on Monday evening.
That is the view of former Reds striker David Fairclough, who is hoping for a repeat of last season's European success when United come to town next week.
Jürgen Klopp's team head into their latest meeting with the Red Devils off the back of a four-game winning streak in the Premier League that has left them just two points off top spot.
But Fairclough expects the in-form hosts to find an 'awkward' test awaiting them.
For that reason, he believes a fervent home support will be important in helping the Reds get over the line - just as they were during a 2-0 Europa League last-16, first-leg victory last term.
"Underneath the lights, Anfield is a totally different place," he told Liverpoolfc.com.
"We played them in the Europa League last year and it was a fantastic atmosphere and the lights bring the best out of Anfield sometimes, so hopefully there'll be something similar.
"There will be that urgency to win, we love beating Manchester United, and it's a big game so everyone can't wait for it.
"It's an awkward fixture, they're huge rivals. But we can set the tempo with the atmosphere and I'm sure Jürgen will be appealing to the fans to really take part on Monday night.
"And if the atmosphere is up, generally that brings out the best performances at Anfield."
FREE: Relive the celebrations after our last Anfield win over Man Utd
Liverpool are the joint-highest goalscorers in the league this season alongside Manchester City, having found the back of the net on 18 occasions in their seven games so far.
And Fairclough predicts that the Reds will take a similarly attacking approach on Monday, even if their opponents do not.
"I think games against United are normally [high-tempo] but this time [they could] approach it a bit softer in terms of not rushing out - they won't want to make it open.
"They'll have done their homework, obviously, and they'll try to frustrate Liverpool - we know how Jose Mourinho approaches games at Anfield. But from Liverpool's point of view, I don't think we'll see much change.
"Liverpool will play that style that we know they're now comfortable with and, if they get an early breakthrough, they could make life easier for themselves."
2016-17
'Super Sub' also underlined the importance of a patient approach should Jose Mourinho's men come looking to frustrate their hosts.
"Clearly, we'll have to be prepared for a patient spell and hopefully we don't get frustrated," he continued.
"We won't want to give anything away and they certainly won't come and create an open game. It's up to everyone to remain patient and continue to do the things we do well.
"We know that we'll get chances and, when those chances come, you have to be ready. You're not going to get an abundance of chances against Manchester United and we have to appreciate that, when they come, we can't afford to waste them.

The Real Madrid C. F. Board of Directors have agreed to call an Ordinary General Assembly for the 23rd of October 2016. The corresponding results for the 2015-2016 season which will be submitted for approval are as follows:
Operating revenues for the financial year 2015/16, without taking into account capital gains obtained as a result of player transfers, have topped 600 million euros for the first time, reaching a figure of 620.1 million euros, a 7.4% increase on the previous financial year.
The operating result before repayments and player transfers (“recurring EBITDA”) has risen to 163.2 million euros, which is the highest figure ever reached by the club, representing a 26.3% increase on revenue figures and a rise of 20.9% on the previous financial year. This improvement in profitability is due to an increase in revenues having subtracted operating expenses and provisions corresponding to risks and contingencies.
A pre-tax profit of 43.3 million euros has been recorded, which is 22.5% less than the previous financial year. This is due to the non-recurrent effect of player transfers, despite the operating improvements recorded. After achieving a net profit (after tax) of 30.3 million euros, net worth has risen to 442.2 million euros.
The cash balance has risen by 102.6 million euros to reach a figure of 211.5 million euros, thanks to higher cash flow generated by operations and restraints on investments.
As a result of the increase in liquid assets and the reduction of creditor balances by investments, the net debt has fallen by 108.9 million euros to sit at a figure of -13.1 million euros, which in reality represents, not a debt but rather a net liquidity position. Therefore, multiples of debt over EBITDA and net worth have been reduced to zero, indicating a position of maximum solvency.

ANGEL DI MARIA HAS LOST HOPE OF LIFTING TROPHY WITH ARGENTINA
Paris Saint-Germain's Angel Di Maria has said that if Argentina lose another final at a major tournament he will call it quits from international duty.
The 28-year-old admits he thought about retiring along with Lionel Messi earlier this summer and also considered "going to see a psychologist" after a third consecutive final defeat in as many years.
La Albiceleste lost the 2014 FIFA World Cup final to Germany before being beaten by Chile in both the 2015 and centennial 2016 edition of the Copa America.
Di Maria said he found each defeat hard to take and struggled with the same emotional battle that Messi did before his family talked him out of it. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid man said he also considered therapy.
"I did not think Lio [Messi] was coming back ever again," Di Maria told TyC Sports. "These are the things that go through your head in moments like that, I think.
"Losing one final, that happens, but when it happens three times in a row, that is something else entirely. I thought about making the same decision, but my wife and my father were the first in stopping me. It was impossible for me to say, 'I am leaving.'
"I wanted to go see a psychologist, but in the end I didn't go because I knew it was something I had to figure out in my own head," he said.
Di Maria, however, confirmed that another major loss for Argentina will see him end his international career.

FOUR STRAIGHT DRAW IN ZIDANE COACHING RECORD
Real Madrid have drawn with Éibar in a match they deserved to win. It was all uphill from the early stages, despite Bale having the first chance of the match with 4 minutes gone. His shot from the edge of the area could only find the side-netting, before the visitors went in front two minutes later. Capa crossed from the right on 6 minutes and Fran Rico headed the ball into the back of the net.
The Basque side's joy was short-lived though, as only 11 minutes later, Cristiano Ronaldo got away from Capa and dug out a left-footed cross to the back post on 17 minutes, where Bale was on hand to score with a fantastic header. The scores were level at 1-1 with almost the entire match still to play.
BALE HAS NOW SCORED 50 LEAGUE GOALS.
Zidane took off Varane and Benzema for Nacho and Morata at half time. The Whites were dominant and going for the win. Bale crossed in the 53rd minute, Morata laid the ball back with his head and Isco got a shot off on the half-turn. The blocked ball fell to Cristiano Ronaldo, but his shot from the penalty spot was deflected behind for a corner by Lejeune. The Portuguese man had an even better opportunity one minute later when Bale picked him out in the box and his header forced Riesgo into a fine diving save.
Bale hits the post
The hosts refused to let up and their dominance was now clear. With 60 minutes gone, Kovacic crossed to Bale, who sent a great headed effort towards goal from outside the area but could only find the upright. Going into the final stretch of the game, Real Madrid continued to pile the pressure on Riesgo's goal but a lack of precision in the final third proved their downfall. The Whites gave everything they had right to the end and really deserved to get the better of Éibar, but attentions now turn to the international break
