Cristiano Ronaldo continues to receive prizes after an excellent year, in which he has won Champions League, Club World Cup and European Super Cup with Real Madrid and the European Championships with Portugal. The Real Madrid striker has been voted the best European sportsperson of 2016 by the 27 international news agencies. The winner of this prize, which has been awarded since 1958 by the Polish agency PAP, is chosen by the votes of journalists representing each of agencies. Cristiano beat tennis player Andy Murray, who was second, and the Hungarian swimmer Katinka Hosszu.

This award can be added to the many individual recognitions that Cristiano has received throughout 2016. An unforgettable year for the Portuguese forward, in which he won his fourth Ballon d'Or and his second UEFA Best Player in Europe award. All this after scoring 55 goals (42 for Real Madrid and 13 for Portugal), the last four in Japan where he picked up the Golden Boot in the Club World Cup.

QATAR want to break Asian record with their magnificent stadiums proposed for FIFA WORLD CUP 2022.
Qatar Has submitted sufficient proposals on how to contribute to the improvement of sports facilities in specific countries. It will donate Parts of the modular stadiums (the upper tier of some of 9 stadiums) to developing countries after the tournament – The Doha Port Stadium, for example, is to be completely modular and will be entirely dismantled after the World Cup. All of the planned stadiums fulfill FIFA’s seating and capacity requirements. They would take measures to reduce solar radiation and warm winds, and provide soft air conditioning to provide adequate climatic conditions inside the stadium at spectator and pitch levels. The proposed stadiums would have sufficient public transports links to their respective city centers.

•  Chelsea thrashed Bournemouth 3-0 at Stamford Bridge with a brace from Pedro Rodriquez and a goal from Belgian forward Eden Hazard.
